Lingon design
Lingon Design is all about standing out. Just like the red lingonberries in the forest.
The designer and goldsmith Lina Simons has been creating jewellery and everyday tools since 1993. With a simple but distinct language she has made herself a name in Nordic jewellery design.
– My best ideas are born when I wander in nature. And I love walking in the archipelago looking for treasures that have been washed ashore by the sea. Those are environments that inspire me to create unique jewellery. By unique I mean that every piece must have a personal idea, which is expressed through the design.
Lingon Design is based in Helsinki. We work with our own collections as well as in partnerships, with for example Kalevala, the legendary Finnish jewellery brand, and Suunto, manufacturer of world-renowned watches and precision instruments. All our jewellery is made in Finland, and we strive to work with recycled silver and gold.
– Any kind of design should be developed in harmony with sustainable development. Therefore Lingon Design offers jewellery that is timeless. My hope is that my creations are passed down through generations, says Lina Simons.
We donate 4% of all sales to help to save the Baltic Sea. Read more about how we donate.
